Manila Bulletin correspondent Candy Manaloto writes of her experience conquering her fear of water at Dive & Trek

MTV is featuring Dive and Trek for it's Holy Week 2003 programming. Together with Instructor Ney Ney Guevarra and Jan Acosta, VJ's Belinda Panelo and Sara Meier went to the resort to have a whole day of fun taping the episode.

The MTV Logo was temporarily submerged in the Marine Sanctuary to serve as part of the underwater scene.

Whale sharks are the largest known fish in the world. There have been many previous sightings of these at the Dive and Trek Marine Sanctuary.

Commonly called Butanding, all these sightings were not documented by photos and therefore have not been widely accepted as fact.

That is, until now.

This morning, we received an early Christmas gift when we saw, swam, and played with the whale shark for more than 10 minutes, allowing photos to be taken as proof.
